How do I place an order?

How much lead time do I need to make an order?

For wedding cakes, we accept bookings 6 months in advance. As we're only able to take in limited number of bookings each week, it's best to book a slot as soon as you have a confirmed date.

For celebration cakes, please place your order at least 4 weeks in advance.

If you require a cake at the last minute, please send us an enquiry to check for availability. We will try our best to accommodate!

Will there be a wedding cake consultation?

For confirmed wedding cake bookings, we will arrange for an online meeting about 1-2 months prior to the wedding date.

Feel free to drop us an email to chat about your wedding cake. We will assist you accordingly.

Do I need to place a deposit?

For wedding cakes, a deposit of $100 is required to confirm the booking.

For celebration cakes, a 50% deposit is due upon confirmation of order. The balance amount (50%) will be due 7 days before the date of delivery/collection.

Do you have Food Hygiene certification?

Yes, we are WSQ certified in Food and Beverage Safety and Hygiene Policies and Procedures.

Are your cakes Halal?

All cakes are prepared in a Muslim-owned kitchen and only Halal ingredients are used.

What is the difference between a cream cake and fondant cake?

A cream cake needs to be refrigerated in the chiller. It may only last outside for about 1 hour, depending on the humidity. For wedding events, cream cakes will only be delivered 30 mins prior to the cake cutting ceremony.

A fondant cake is strongly recommended for wedding events. As wedding cakes are usually displayed outdoors for long hours, they are the best option as they do not need to be refrigerated. You won't have to worry about melting cakes!

Why are sugar flowers expensive? Can I opt for fresh flowers instead?

Sugar flowers cost more as it involves an intricate crafting process. Each sugar flower is lovingly handcrafted, coloured, and dusted to recreate the blooms of fresh flowers. Sugar flowers can also last for a long time if they are kept in proper conditions. They are perfect as a memento or a decorative piece in your home!

At Cake Vow, we work exclusively with sugar flowers. While fresh flowers look absolutely lovely on cakes, caution is warranted as these flowers will be in direct contact with the cake. We are unable to assure you that the flowers are free from chemicals.

Can my cake turn out exactly the same as the reference picture I provided?

We are not able to replicate a design 100% as a form of respect for other cake artists. However, we will do our best to deliver a design that aligns with our style. We will work together with you on the cake specifications and theme. We also seek your understanding to allow us some creative freedom in your cake design.

Do you offer wedding cakes only?

No. There is always an occasion that calls for cakes! We create cakes for all occasions - Weddings, Birthdays, Engagements or Just Because…

Do you deliver? Can I do a self-collection?

All wedding cakes will be delivered to the venue.

We welcome self-collection for celebration cakes and other bakes. Please ensure that you have made transport arrangements to collect your cakes. Once the cake is in your care, Cake Vow will not take any responsibility for any damage.

Tip: Place the cake on a flat surface. Do ensure that you drive with care, especially on road humps and turns.

Do you rent out cake stands?

Yes. Rental of cake wares option (cake stand, knife, server) is available for all wedding cake orders.
